Explore Marches Community Led Housing

Marches Community Led Housing are hosting a series of online events to spread awareness of an alternative way to create local housing opportunities in Shropshire, Herefordshire, and Telford & Wrekin.

Marches Community Led Housing is a new, not-for-profit organisation designed to act as a support hub for parishes, towns or villages seeking to explore the opportunities of community-led housing schemes.

Community-led housing usually refers to a small development of affordable homes that are designed, built, owned and controlled by a local group of people.

If you’re interested in finding out more about community-led housing and how it might work in your area, we’d like to invite you to register for one of our online events.

The events are open to all, whether you’re in some kind of housing need, a housing sector professional or someone who owns a small area of land which is currently unsuitable for conventional development.

To allow as many people to take part as possible, there will be three events on different days. These are:

  • Monday 15th June at 11am
  • Wednesday 17th June at 7pm
  • Friday 19th at 3pm.

To book a spot on your chosen date, please register here through Eventbrite.

There will be presentations from Bristol Community Land Trust and the Older People’s Cohousing Project, as well as members of the hub itself who will be on hand to answer questions and share ideas.
